The Profound Marked(+), an Elder Scrolls story
Seriatus "Ciri" Silver
The nobility of a knight, the finesse of a noble, occasionally the fire of a nord.
“I wish a long life to no one, lest they live to see dark times.”
Seriatus is around 5’8, normally wearing a type of nobleworman’s dress which allow a hidden dagger or two. Normally enchanted. Paralysis worked so well for her in ‘46. She goes by Ciri, and is unusually beautiful. That is, if she puts time into it, usually she will be wearing Jorviel’s Moonstone shortsword, and soft leathers from High Rock, and dirt covering her face from working with those she tries so hard to protect.
Ciri is a beautiful noblewoman, orphaned from a young age. Her family was killed in an estate to the south of Leyawiin, which the Elder Council deemed not important enough to protect adequately. She became close friends with an Altmer named Jorviel. Not so much lovers as partners-in-crime, the two would charm, trick, sneak, or otherwise beguile their way through the nobility, changing their logbooks and tricking their stewards. Through this, they managed to, as they liked to call it, “trick the town” into fixing itself up from the skeever-infested, grungy town it was, into a beautiful shining port city that rivals Wayrest in trade.
This ended when Jorviel and his family were beheaded for conspiring against the Elder Council. The only one who truly knew that they, or at least Jorviel, were innocent was Ciri. The family could not find a single person who could help against the Council, after all, to oppose the Council is to fight the consolidated powers of all Cyrodiil, High Rock, and even some of Morrowind. Only a fool would be so mad.
Only Ciri would be so brave. Or “bravely and humbly foolhardy” as Moviris describes her.
Ciri has defended dozens if not a hundred of people from execution or exile at the hands of the corrupt members of the Empire, though she would never admit how her deeds have shaped the lives of many. She is not one for emotional moments, and prefers actions and proof rather than words. Headstrong and fiery for a Nibenese.
If the Oculatus have a file on her, it is split down the middle, soft-spoken idealist and protector, or impassioned and even manipulative knight-of-law.
